What should I do....

So I thought I'd buy a foundation. All the signs were right, I had the money, my YSL one had run out so I decided to buy a MAC one. Now as much as I love Mac, I'm always very weary as I really didn't like the Mineralize Satinfinish I bought before as it didn't give good coverage and I looked dead. But I thought I'd give it another go with Studio fix fluid. The lady in MAC matched me up, however it didn't feel like she was really concentrating on me and only did a tiny bit on my face without properly taking my make-up off so I couldn't see it properly but trusting her judgement i bought the foundation as it seemed to give good coverage. Then the next day I tried it on, and I'm orange. Proper orange. Now I don't know what to do, cause it is clearly the wrong colour but can I take it back, or should I just keep it for one when I'm fake tanned or a summer one? I really need some help cause I need foundation desperately. x

Who's a spoilt girl? I am!

I hope you all had beautiful white Christmases with everything your hearts dreamed of. I was a very lucky spoilt girl. I got more then I could have imagined, though none of it I asked for. I got an iPad, a Wildfox jumper, Perfume, Bobbi Brown brushes, some money, an Aspinal of London Union Jack mirror, clothes, some MAC make-up and like others bits and bobs. I can't wait to go shopping now, I'm thinking about maybe: MAC make-up, MAC brushes and a wildfox top. But who knows? What did you beautiful people get?

sucks to be flu.... Brush help needed!

I haven't posted in ages, stupid flu is making me feel really horrible. I can't even go and enjoy the snow we have, very upsetting. Though last night I got a bouquet of pink roses from my boyfriend to say get better soon, which did help to soften the disappointment of being stuck inside. So instead I've been doing some wish list shopping, and I really want some good MAC brushes. I know I'm getting some money for Christmas so I think i will buy some. I just don't know which ones to buy. I only want eye ones really as i have nice face brushes which do the job, however if there is a mush have I would probably buy it. So please could everyone tell what their top 6 are, I'd be very grateful. Love to you all. xoxo

help me smudge my lipstick...

I really want new lipsticks, I thought i would buy myself a new pro pallette but now I still want one but my lust for lipstick is more. I've been layering them on at the moment in a lame atempt to keep my lips warm but even though I love the ones I own, I'm yearning for new ones. You just can't beat the feeling of twisting up a brand new tube.

Wahoooo it was my birthday on Tuesday. It was amazing and I had a super lovely day and an amazing night, which I paid for the next day, eugh. But I got lovely presents, I got driving lessons so I can drive my little car and I got the most beautiful toywatch, isn't it so so pretty?

This picture just doesn't do it justice, when all the lights hit it, it is truly stunning, if a tiny bit over the top, but there is nothing wrong with that. My amazing friends also bought me a MAC gift card of £50 which I thought was like the cutest thing, but now I have the lovely yet tricky task of what to buy? maybe a new pro palette, or some new lipstick? If anyone has any recommendations I'd be very grateful.

we're going to party like its my birthday....

I can't believe I have 11 followers, it is so exciting, thank you all so much. And so I'm sorry I've been a naughty slacker. Naughty me, however its my birthday soon so forgive me because I am too excited about it. My mum asked me to make a list of what I wanted so she could pick, because apparently I'm hard to buy for? I know its late but I just thought I'd show you my Halloween make up

Sorry the pictures aren't great, they were taken a bit later on in the nigh, so I looked a little rough by that stage. But I used my violetta lipstick, 17 trio eyeshadow in purples and MAC woodwinked. I used the palest purple all over the lid and then i used the middle purple in the crease and the darkest purple winged right up to my eyebrows and under my lower lashes. I then put woodwinked in the inner corner and then to complete the look I used my false lashes which have beads on the end of the top set and I used false ones on my lower lashes as well. I wish I'd taken better pictures to show this because it did look really good. Still, I hope you all had a spooky time.

I just feel horrible at the moment. Everything is getting on top of me, and I feel lost. Like I've lost myself. However looking at these pictures really cheered me up and I hope they do to you too. Have a beautiful day. You are amazing.

make up can't mend your broken heart, but you can try....

I just had like the worst few days. Like when all you feel is eughhhhhh. So try to cheer me up and stop me crying ( its harder to cry in the MAC store) my beautiful friend drove me to town to go shopping. I bought a new eyeshadow which is Cranberry, And OMG its so beautiful, the colour is like a rich red which sparkles in it, though I always see some pink coming through. I am wearing at the moment with woodwinked which is lovely with the rich golds and reds together. It really did cheer me up, even when you think everything is rubbish, your eyes can still look beautiful, also if they look pretty you don't want to cry and ruin them as much. What do you think?

Loves and Hates for this week.....

LOVES :

* Roast Dinners: I can't even describe how happy I am that my mum will finally make these again. She completely refuses to in summer and I spend all July craving them. I just love the roast potatoes.

* Violetta: I'm just so happy I bought this lipstick. I'm really falling in love with it, though I'm still a little weary of wearing it out, which is so unlike me. However I wore it yesterday for Halloween and its just so beautiful. Which also makes it lipstick of the week.

* My puppy, Gucci: She is just the most adorable thing and I got to spend a whole week with her cause I was at my dads. She is so sweet when she jumps on the bed for a cuddle. Though having said that, she is so annoying when she licks your face in the morning to wake you up. Look at her little face in the snow, blesss.











* OPI Bring on the Bling: IT'S AMAZING. It's just so so pretty. I love it so much more then I thought I would. I only got it for a party but now it might turn in to a very much used shade.

HATES :

* Cold Feet: My poor feet are just cold all the time. I do not like it.

* Stupid Stumpy Nails: I hate my nails so much. They are so horrible and short, which is my own fault because I bite them and rip them up. I want acrylics back but I just can't afford it.

* Having No Money: Eugh I just want so many pretty things, and I already owe my mum money so when I get some I have to give it back. This makes me the most sad

I'm just a barbie girl...

So I went to a halloween party the other day and went as.... BARBIE.

It was me and my friend's idea and 4 of us did it in total, though i missed out on some of the fun as i didn't have to buy a wig, still on the plus side more moneys for MAC make up :)

I'm sorry I can't remember most of the stuff I used, as i literally rooted round for everything, however:

Eyes:

a pale pink base and bright pink above the crease line, huge fake eyelashes on top and bottom for a more "dolly" look and eyeliner to make it all look neater

Face:

two types of foundation ( a sheer one for a base, and a thick matte one on top), MSF, stupid amounts of blusher ( i used nars orgasm and it was like a dream)

Lips:

MAC Lady Gaga Lipstick first, then Chatterbox, a tiny bit of Impassioned with a pale shiny lipgloss over the top

I also fake tanned properly for more dollyness, however I'm so pale it just made me normal colour.

Here are some pictures, which I actually think look quite good, I'd deffo recommend trying this look to anyone (I'm the one with the real blonde hair)

coastal scents 88 palette?

So I've heard a lot about these recently, and wondered if it is worth investing in?

The colours look nice, and the prices are really good so i thought i might get a 88 Makeup Palette and a 88 Warm Palette, so I could have colour and neturals but are they good? Because I don't want to waste money on something that isn't very good, so if anyone has any advice on them, I'd be super grateful.

MAC Venomous Villains

So I am in LOVE with my new MAC make up. I always love their collections so I was so excited when i found out that Disney was the new one. I like the colours however i find darker colours harder to wear which i find dominate, however I purchased Toxic Tale and went out an a limb and bought Violetta.

I'm super pleased with them, Toxic Tale is a lovely bright coral/orange, I'm not sure if its actually that orange or it just looks that way on me but either way I really like it and got some lovely compliments about it. Violetta comes out darker then it looks in the tube which I am pleased about, and have an almost iridescence undertone. I really like this lipstick however with my pale skin and blonde hair, I'm not completely convinced that it suits me. However I am going to try extremely hard to make it, and if it doesn't then I will be selling it on here, so someone might get lucky as I hear the whole collection is about to sell out.

somebody's darling...

So, this is my first blog. I've really wanted to do a good one for ages and i finally got round to doing it. I really want to talk about make up and fashion on this as its something I really love. There is nothing quite like a new MAC lipstick to show what true love is. My names Daisy and I've got blue eyes which change colours and blonde hair which i call angel hair. I love MAC and Nars for really good make up, but i just wish i had more money for more.
