I'm in the mood to Obey...

I really want to buy some Illamasqua products. We don't have anywhere which sells them locally where I live so I would have to order them but their products keep popping up on blogs and I'm impressed and curious to try them. I would quite like to try the lipsticks especially Obey as I've want a nice coral for ages and the solstice liquid metal, the colour pigment looks amazing. However I heard many people dupe it to the new sleek molten metal. Has anyone got any advice on their must have products or things I should or should not try?

Wonder Woman saves the day...

I'm so excited about MAC's new Wonder Woman collection, the packaging looks amazing. I often think MAC could make more of an effort when it comes to L.E collection packaging but this one really works. However I'm not sure how many products I will be picking up. My favourite things by MAC are usually lip products and none of the ones released this time really stand out and grab me which is a shame. However I like the eyeshadow quads and the MSF's, so hopefully I'll get some of those, I will be asking for some of this for Valentine's Day. Talking of lipsticks though how AMAZING is Laura's giveaway? 5 MAC lipsticks of your choice, she is super generous. You can check it out here: http://throughtheeyesoflaura.blogspot.com/2011/01/mac-giveaway.html

Cloud Nine Review...

So I thought I'd do a review of my cloud nine hair straighteners. I got these a while ago and have been forgetting to review for ages. Well here goes...

What they say:
"Suitable for all hair types, they use state-of-the-art temperature control technology, allowing you to create lots of exciting looks, without having to use searing heat. Whether you want to smooth, flick, curl or straighten your hair, you can - at a lower temperature than you ever thought possible."

What I thought:

I love them. I used to use GHD's to straighten and curl however I found that they were was so hot and I have very thick healthy hair, but even I winced as i used to pull them through, and it only took a few times through my hair before it looked super damaged.

With cloud nines there is not such problem. They have a control panel so you can turn the heat up or down as you wish, and they do the job perfectly. Also the plates seem to have some special coating as after using them, my hair seems so soft and silky and it never normally does. They were incredibly lightweight and easy to use with the rounded edge so you can still curl with them. The packaging is beautiful and sleek in baby blue and black and they also come with protective heat proof case to slide over the top. This is so useful as I am forever getting shouted at for burning the carpet. That along with the hibernation mode it means I will now be a disaster free zone.

Overall:
Amazing. After using these I will never look at another GHD again, these are perfect.
They retail at £129.95 which is a bit more then the GHD's but for what you get I would say extremely worth it.

Here is what it looks like and you can buy them here at: http://www.cloudninehair.com/

(I was in no way influenced by cloud nine, I was given these as a gift from my dad and this is my own honest opinion)

Headkandy extensions....

I really want these.
They look amazing and I really want my hair to be long. I've search every review, youtube video, everything I can about them. I want my hair to be long and perfect, but I've had extensions before and I don't want to spend £80-£100 on something that is wrong or isn't what I want. Has anyone got a pair that they could advise me about them. I was thinking about getting 20-22, in either Manhattan or Parisian but I'm not completely sure what shade to get. If anyone could help I'd be so so grateful. xxx

Summer Lovin'....

I'm craving summer. I want tiny shorts, bright lipstick, lazy park days and coca cola floats.
I can't wait though, usually I'm not a summer girl, I actually like the snow and rain of winter but now I can't wait. I've been planning it.
Plan of Summer:
I want my hair super long and blonde, I think I will need extensions to get there. I was thinking of getting headkandy ones, but it's a lot of money and I would want to get the right ones. Has anyone got some that could tell me how they are?
I really want to get skinny, so so bad. I want this to be the summer I finally can put on a crop top and look nice. I want to wear my morange lipstick with matching nails. In fact I might go do that, Summer is only 5 months away.....

Is there any love as strong as for a new lipstick?

Or two! Thank you mummy, who surprised me with not one but TWO new MAC lipsticks. I'm a very happy girlie. I got Myth and Shy Girl, which I've been lusting after for a while. I almost bought them the other day when I went into town, I ummed and ahhed for about an hour with Myth, Hue and Shy Girl, before finally choosing Shy Girl, only then to be told it was sold out. I was upset then and the fact I could have one made me want one more, however I was dragged away and told to get one when it was back and not to buy anything for the sake of it, blahhh, does she not understand? But now I have both, I'm so happy, which one to use first?

Also my super yummy boyfriend told me that part of my Christmas/birthday present is.... £40 pounds in MAC! Bless his little heart, however what to choose? Please can you guys recommended some of your must haves, I'd love to try some new stuff. It will cheer me up when I'm revising, booohooo.
